Cefotaxime Injection 1 gm
Cefotaxime is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections. It works by interfering with bacterial cell-wall formation.
Uses
• Certain respiratory tract infections
• Urinary tract infections
• Skin and soft-tissue infections
• Bone and joint infections
• Bloodstream infections
• Certain other bacterial infections
• May also be used for surgical infection prevention when prescribed
